Privacy.

Linefold is a local-first rehearsal app. Your imported scripts, speaker corrections, rehearsal position and backups are stored on your device. App Factory does not operate a script-sync account or receive your script content through the app.

Script and voice data

Linefold uses your device's text-to-speech service to read cues. Voice processing and downloadable voices are controlled by iOS or Android and their settings. Linefold does not send your script text to App Factory or RevenueCat. When you choose to export or share a backup, the destination you select receives that file.

Purchases

If you open or buy Linefold Pro, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the transaction. RevenueCat helps the app load products and verify the Pro entitlement. Store and RevenueCat processing may involve a transaction identifier, product identifier, app-user identifier and purchase status. We do not receive your full payment card number. Your scripts are not part of the purchase data.

Support and website

The website is hosted by Netlify, which may process ordinary hosting logs. If you send the support form, Netlify processes the name, email and message you provide so we can reply. Do not include private scripts, passwords or payment details in a support request. We use a support message to answer the request and handle related follow-up; you may ask for its deletion through the same form.

Analytics and advertising

Linefold does not include an advertising SDK, behavioral analytics SDK, account login or our own cloud script storage. RevenueCat uses purchase information to validate Pro and provide aggregate purchase reporting. This website does not set an analytics or advertising cookie.

Your choices

You can export a local backup, remove an individual script in the app or clear all app data by uninstalling the app. Before uninstalling, save a backup if you want to keep your scripts. See data deletion instructions. To ask about support-message data, use the support form.

Purchases are tied to your Apple or Google store account and can be restored in the app. Deleting local app data does not cancel or erase a store purchase.
